About My Vax
Enter a date of birth and My Vax shows which vaccinations the UK recommended for a child born on that day, from infancy to leaving school, in plain English and with an official source for every entry.
What it is for
Most adults do not know what they were offered as children, and GP records are often incomplete or hard to get. My Vax is a sourced starting point: it shows what to ask about, not what was actually given. Parents can see the current timetable for a new baby. Clinicians can use the professional view and PDF as a citable reference when records are missing.
Where the facts come from
Nothing is fetched live while you use the site. A hand-built reference dataset is bundled with the app: schedule eras from before 1961 to the present, vaccines, catch-up campaigns, caveats, and a UK place list. Every visit, change and caveat is tied to a source. Government publications on GOV.UK are used wherever they exist; archive reports and peer-reviewed reviews fill gaps the official timeline does not publish. The Sources page lists every reference.
What it does not do
- It is not a vaccination record. It shows what was recommended, not what was given.
- It does not give medical advice and does not say whether anyone should get a vaccine now.
- It does not guess. If no verified schedule is held for a date, it says so.
- It covers the UK schedule only. Childhood spent abroad is not covered.
The date of birth is sent in the request and is never stored. Server logs record only the method, path, status and response time.
